School Art

Hi There, New thought!..... Have your children been bring home"neat" artwork since school has started? How about framing one of the "great" ones in pretty, or bright frames, and they will last for a lifetime... I framed one of my daughters when she was in first grade, and now she is a mother of a teen-ager, and I wouldn't take a million for it....

When framing a new piece of art for your home, don't just work hard to select your frame and matting, play special attention to the glazing(glass) you will be using. Check out museum glass, it is a wonderful look. It is more pricey than other glass, but in looking at your work, you won't even believe there is glass covering your art. It looks as though you can reach right in and take out what you are framing, really neat. Just alittle tip for you to check out.

Welcome to Slater Custom Framing's new blog, where you will get the latest and greatest information and specials to create your masterpiece! As many of you know I have been located on Liberty St. in Franklin, PA. BUT now I am located in my custom frame shop in Tippery - Just 3 short miles outside of Seneca!

If you are not familiar with me, I have been framing professionally for over 20 plus years in our local area. Many of my frames have gone on to win numerous awards in many of the area's competitions in conjunction with the photography, paintings, and shadowboxes etc.
